the location

With us you take center stage

Our hotel is at the start of Dachauer Strasse in downtown Munich - a quiet pedestrian-only area close to the central station. This means you have a major transportation hub just three minutes' walk away. In the area of the central station you will find stops for all of Munich's public transportation facilities as well as department stores, restaurants, bistros, doctors' surgeries and lots of small shops. In the immediate vicinity of our hotel there is also a wide range of interesting shops and culinary delights to discover.

Everything's close by - in every direction

Are you on a cultural trip? To the north it's not far to Königsplatz, Glyptothek and Lenbachhaus. Just beyond these there are the Pinakothek museums - and then Schwabing beckons with its numerous night spots. Or perhaps you're heading to the Oktoberfest? Here again, all it takes is a short walk to the south and you're in on the action. Would you like to see the central pedestrian-only shopping area, Marienplatz and the famous Hofbräuhaus? These are likewise easy to reach on foot. As you can see, our hotel is located right where Munich's varied facets overlap.

Well connected

Whether you're attending a business meeting, visiting a trade fair or heading off on a trip to the mountains, you'll find our hotel is the perfect place to take a rental car or taxi for fast travel to the outskirts of Munich or the surrounding area. And of course the rapid transit train (S-Bahn) for transportation from and to the airport stops right at the central station. It couldn't be more convenient. If reliable medical care is important to you, you'll also find a range of excellent doctors' surgeries under one roof at Elisenhof just one minute's walk away - open 24 hours a day.

The best starting point for Munich. We'll be glad to offer you advice for your tour of the city.
